Entertainment Weekly Reports Kurt Vonnegut's Cat's Cradle is Coming to TV

Entertainment Weekly reported this morning that IM Global Television will be adapting Kurt Vonnegut’s Cat’s Cradle for television. From the report, it appears that the project is in the early days of planning. There's not too many details about how or when this treatment of Vonnegut's seminal work will happen.

Adding to the mystery of the project is why the Entertainment Weekly writer would start out the piece with "hipsters rejoice." It's better than even odds that we're unhip enough to realize Vonnegut's body of work has become a fashion statement. Hopefully, the TV adaptation of Cat's Cradle will convey the full force of Vonnegut's satirical views of religion and geopolitics without the need to make the work friendly for granfalloons discussing the series at overpriced coffee houses. So it goes...
