Rex Deus The Families of the Grail by Cyndi and Tim Wallace-Murphy

Rex Deus: The Families of the GrailGrave Distractions Publications started a relationship with prolific author Tim Wallace-Murphy last year when we reissued Tim's  The Genesis of a Tragedy: A Brief History of the Palestinian People. Now we're pleased to announce that we're not representing one Wallace-Murphy, but two. Cyndi Wallace-Murphy has co-authored Rex Deus: The Families of the Grail with her husband Tim. We're happy to say that Rex Deus: The Families of the Grail was released earlier this week, just in time for Cyndi and Tim's tour of New York and New Jersey next month.

Rex Deus: The Families of the Grail Synopsis

Did Jesus found a dynasty that is still with us today? Rex Deus: The Families of the Grail describes how Rex Deus, the descendants of the Twenty-Four High Priestly families of the Biblical Temple in Jerusalem went underground throughout Europe and kept their secret teaching alive despite terrible persecution. It describes how, after careful planning, they created the Order of the Knights Templar and laid the foundations for modern European culture. How their banking skills stimulated the growth of capitalism and banking and shows why they created an atmosphere of tolerance for the Cathars and other heretical groups. Their association with the legends of the Holy Grail and the veneration of the Black Madonna give us an indication of their true belief system. These families also influenced the Rosicrucians and played a vital, formative role in the foundation of Freemasonry to pass on what they believed were the true teachings of Jesus to the wider world.

Rex Deus: The Families of the Grail is currently available in both print and ebook editions at online retailers like: Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Google Books. For a full listing, visit this book's page at the Grave Distractions Publications website. Also a preview Rex Deus: The Families of the Grail, can be found here.

About the Authors

Cynthia Wallace-Murphy is a Professional Registered Nurse specialising in cardiology. She is also a graduate of Marketing and Management. She has travelled extensively throughout Europe and spent some time in the Middle East. She has been researching Western Esoteric Spirituality with an emphasis on the Cathars, Knights Templar, Hermeticim, and Christianity. She returned to France in Languedoc-Rousillon in 2013 in order to study medieval cathedrals and the Cathar strongholds. Having an empathic feeling, a strong connection with Occitania, she decided to make it her permanent home where she currently resides with her husband Tim Wallace-Murphy in the foothills of the Midi Pyrènèes. She has published several articles on her experiences through travel in several books before embarking on a collaboration with her husband in their first joint book entitled Rex Deus: The Families of the Grail.

The Irish born internationally known author and lecturer, Tim Wallace-Murphy, is the author of thirteen published books, mostly about the history of a variety of heretical forms of spirituality. He once redefined heresy as, "The use of God's gift of Freewill in matters of Religion, Faith and Dogma."

Tim has appeared in some eight or nine TV documentaries and many of his interviews can be found on YouTube. He has given talks and lectures in a wide variety of venues, to Masonic Lodges, Spiritual groups, clubs and associations across the western world such as in Seattle and Long Beach on the West Coast of the USA, in Denver Colorado, in Santa Fe New Mexico. New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, in Montreal and the Eastern townships in Canada, all across England, Scotland and Ireland, in France, Italy, Spain and in Prague.

Eleven of his works describe historical aspects of spirituality and cover a variety of themes including the Knights Templar, the Cathars, Rosslyn Chapel and the Western Esoteric Tradition as well as the Grail genre. The other two, including the most recent are more modern mainstream historical works, namely What Islam did for Us a study of how Islamic scholarship laid the foundations of most of the more valued aspects of European culture, and his latest work The Genesis of a Tragedy - A Brief History of the Palestinian People. Tim was provoked to write this work as the Palestinian side of this conflict is rarely heard in either Western Europe or the United States and if this ongoing running sore in East West relations is ever to be solved, the pain on both sides needs to be understood.

He has acted as a tour guide in some of the most beautiful and inspiring sacred sites in Europe. including Rosslyn Chapel in Scotland, Avebury Stone Circle in England and Stonehenge. Tim has escorted people of all faiths and some of none around such fascinating and beautiful Cathedrals as Chartres, Notre Dame de Paris, Orleans and Amiens and the jewel in the crown in Paris, Sainte Chapelle.

Tim and his wife, Cyndi, live in Esperaza in the Languedoc in South Western France a few kilometres from the famous and controversial site of Rennes-le-Chateau and is constantly discovering new and fascinating aspects of this wondrous land.

Mary Magdalene: Revelations from a First Century Avatar Volume I by Gloria Amendola

Grave Distractions Publications has published Gloria Amendola's third book, Mary Magdalene: Revelations from a First Century Avatar. Currently this text is available in both print and eBook formats. Here's a bit about the book from the back cover:

In Mary Magdalene: Revelations from a First Century Avatar, Mary comes to life right before your eyes. Through the author, as a channel for her voice, Mary shares fascinating and intimate details of her early life, esoteric life, and walk with the master teacher and healer–known to us as Jesus.

Through discussion of her gematria–an ancient form of numerology–the author makes a strong case for the true identity of this Mary. She is not who you’ve been told she was, but rather a woman of extraordinary spiritual power who would be considered, in her time, as the equal to Jesus.

Mary then answers specific questions that were asked of her. She explains the differences between the fabled civilizations of Egypt and Atlantis, the Mystery Schools, the process of initiation into expanded awareness, and how we can begin to learn the ancient wisdom of the Mysteries. Find out why Mary believes the time is now for people to rediscover these incredible teachings!

In this riveting account, we are given a glimpse into the life of the Magdalene, of what she and Jesus believed about their mission, and what they foresaw for the future of humanity–a future that Mary says is unfolding right now…

The Tower and the Land: Awakening to the Light by Gloria Amendola

The Tower and the Land: Awakening to the Light by Gloria Amendola
Grave Distractions Publications is happy to announce the publication of Gloria Amendola's second novel, The Tower and the Land: Awakening to the Light.

In Book Two of Gloria Amendola's Tower series, Marta sets out for France – to find the legendary manuscript she was told is still buried somewhere in the countryside of Rennes le Chateau. But the landscape temple is vast and much is to be learned before entering this place of extraordinary power.

No sooner than Marta’s feet touch French soil, the spirit of Joan of Arc appears. The message she receives is puzzling yet she is determined to make sense of it.

Marta wants to understand the power of the magic red ruby, but before she can, she travels to the place of the Gypsies and meets the mysterious Anselme Mathieu, a man of many secrets. They are immediately drawn together – as if they have known – and loved – each other somewhere in time!

And the men who followed her in Virginia Beach are once again on her trail. How did they find her? What are they trying to show her? And should Anselme be trusted?

Will Marta crack the code or will she be stopped from finding the lost book of Jesus? Is it really a book or something unexpected? And how do the thermal waters of Rennes les Bains lead her to Chartres Cathedral? Could it involve the enduring mystery of the Church of St. Sulpice and the message that has been guarded by secret societies throughout time?

This title is available in traditional print and eBook formats at fine online retails such as Amazon, Amazon Australia, Amazon Canada, Amazon UK, Barnes and Noble, iBookstore, Scribd, and Smashwords.

The Tower and the Dream by Gloria Amendola

Tower and the Dream Gloria Amendola
Gloria Amendola is an intuitive who has a passion for esoteric knowledge and dream language. In her private circles, she blends the western tradition of research and evidence with the Eastern path of meditation and going within for answers. She is a trained facilitator and accomplished shamanic drummer, and works with a variety of disciplines in her teaching. Gloria has written original scripts for theater. Three of her plays have been produced – in New Haven, New York City, and Seattle. Her play, Magdalene’s Mind, was translated into Finnish and Russian, for performance in those countries.

Gloria lives on the shoreline of Connecticut but she often travels to sacred sites throughout the world to experience these powerful landscape temples firsthand. She is a modern day Templar aligned to Rennes le Chateau, France. She follows in the footsteps of the enigmatic Knights Templar, walking where they walked, gathering impressions from the traces they left behind.

The Tower and the Dream is Gloria’s first novel that follows the esoteric adventures of Marta. She was living a normal suburban life until that one fateful day in October – the day everything changed. It all started when she collapsed in Providence and an angel appeared. From that moment on, nothing would be the same.

As Marta struggles to cope with her losses, she begins to hear curious voices from the ancient past. The voices offer her messages that seem bizarre at first, but as she listens more carefully, she finds herself traveling back to New Mexico, to the land of her birth. It is there in Santa Fe where the magic finds her and where visions push her to the brink. Is she losing her mind?

Or is she being guided to find something long forgotten? Why is she hearing the voices of those connected to the Jesus story, and the Knights Templar? Why does Joan of Arc appear? Why Francis Bacon and John Dee? And what do Mary Magdalene and Ben Franklin have to do with any of this?

Follow Marta on her journey – a journey she always sensed was waiting for her, but never thought she would have the courage to take…until now.
